The Payroll
Department processes the District's payroll and maintains
employee information. This includes preparing and
distributing paycheques for approximately 600
employees (including full-time, part-time and casual
employees), as well as ensuring the accuracy of
employee files by liaising with payroll staff in the
District’s Departments. The Department also handles
inquiries from, and provides information to,
employees with respect to payroll, pension and
benefits issues.
