This Department is responsible for providing
internal and external customers with appropriate
technology devices, information, and applications to
maximize business efficiencies from the District’s
investment in information technology. The
department also provides other District departments
with IT research, deployment, operations,
maintenance, and customer service. This includes the
support, maintenance and management of the wide and
local area data networks, telephone systems and
voice network, computer applications, security
firewalls, virus detection, data backup and
recovery, and storage management.
Effective delivery of information technology
solutions is accomplished through consultation and
by delivering detailed planning, systems analysis,
systems design, quality assurance, implementation
and training.
