Purchasing Department of the District of Oak Bay is
to purchase goods and services for the District
which represent the best value and service possible
for public monies spent. This includes, but is not
limited to: availability, suitability,
serviceability, transportation, warranty, design,
and overall life cycle cost implications while at
all times maintaining the highest standards of
business ethics in our dealings with suppliers
The procurement
function is accomplished by competitive bidding
based on pre-determined specifications. We also
handle the sale of obsolete or salvageable material.
